Methodist Social Services has been operating for more than 30 years.  Our vision is to connect and empower communities.  We aim to provide a central city location for programmes that develop life skills and social connection for all.

We currently provide classes for the disability and mental health sectors as well as a community meal, food assistance, showers, advocacy and information for health, housing and budgeting services.

The Hamilton Methodist Social Services Trust was registered as a charitable entity under the Charities Act 2005 on 1 February 2008.

Methodist Social Services is proud to be a part of the Methodist Alliance. The Methodist Alliance is a formal alliance of the Methodist Missions, parishes and community based social services and trusts within Aotearoa.
